Vocal tremor is, as it sounds, a tremor of the vocal cords which produced a quavering voice.
Voice therapy can be effective in providing strategies to minimise the effect of tremor on the voice. While we cannot stop the larynx tremmoring, we can change the way we speak to minimise it's effect.
Tremor is usually diagnosed by a team including ENT, Neurologist and Speech Pathologist.
